Atticus lee
Co-President
Atticus is a senior living in Eliot House studying government with a secondary in history. He is from New York City and loves exploring and going on walks in his free time. You’ll always hear him talking about his favorite TV shows (especially The Office) and musical artists (especially Kendrick Lamar). Atticus previously served as President of HMC Europe and he attended HMC Boston all four years of high school as a delegate. He is very excited to return for his final time to the Sheraton as Co-President of HMC!
Laasya Chiduruppa
Co-President
Laasya Chiduruppa is a senior studying legal history, hailing from the historic battleground of Lexington, Massachusetts. She is honored and excited to serve as the 41st Co-President of Harvard Model Congress Boston. HMC has been her home away from home on campus since her freshman year — HMC Boston 2026 will be the sixth conference she has organized and 11th she has attended. Outside of HMC, she is thoroughly involved in educational groups like the Harvard CIVICS Program as well as affinity spaces like the South Asian Women's Collective. In her free time, you can find her embracing her inner yogi or enabling her coffee shop addiction.
morgan byers
Vice President
Morgan is a senior at Harvard College double-concentrating in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology and Government. She is originally from a small town north of Athens, Georgia. When in Cambridge you can find her researching intestinal stem cells at Boston Children's Hospital, working as an EMT with CrimsonEMS, and most importantly doing all-things HMC! Previously, Morgan served as the Director of Special Programs. This year, Morgan will serve as the Vice President of HMC, and she is thrilled to do everything--from planning an amazing delegate dance to editing the incredible briefings--to make this HMC the best one yet!
kaitlyn vu
Speaker of the House
Kaitlyn is a junior in Adams House, concentrating in Government with a secondary in Global Health & Health Policy. She is originally from Quincy, Massachusetts. Outside of HMC, Kaitlyn edits articles for the Harvard Political Review, analyzes polling data for the Harvard Public Opinion Project, and serves on the Harvard Global Health Institute Student Advisory Committee. In her free time, Kaitlyn loves to explore coffee shops, cheer on the Boston sports teams, and visit history museums. She served as House Deputy last year, so she’s incredibly excited to return to the House as Programmatic Officer!
Ava Silva
President of the Senate
Ava is a junior living in Pforzheimer House and is originally from the small town San Augustine, Texas. She is pursuing a joint degree in Linguistics and Anthropology. Ava is currently serving as the President of the Senate at HMC Boston and has previously served as the Co-Director of Mentoring and Scholarship. Apart from HMC, you’ll find Ava enjoying a glass of tea, taking a walk around Cambridge, or hanging out with friends.
Juliet Bu
Director of Special Programs
Juliet is a junior at Harvard in Winthrop House studying Government and Economics. This HMC Boston will be her fourth HMC conference overall. In addition to serving as the Director of Special Programs for the Boston conference, she is also a senior staffer for HMC Europe. On campus, Juliet also serves on the Executive Boards of Harvard CBE, a sustainable strategy consulting group, and the Harvard-Radcliffe Chinese Students Association. In her free time, Juliet enjoys taking walks along the Charles River, reading short stories, and playing New York Times games. She is so excited for HMC 2026!

Adele Raillot
Director of Operations
Adele Raillot is a sophomore in Quincy House from New Jersey studying Biology and Government. In the past, she has attended HMC Boston and Europe as a staffer and is currently also Director of Programs for HMC Middle East. Outside of HMC, she's working in a lab and is involved with the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter and the Foreign Policy Initiative. In her free time, she crochets clothes and loves discovering new music! She's excited to serve as Operations and is looking forward to meeting the faculty and delegates of HMCB 2026.
riya sikand
Director of Technology
Riya is a sophomore in Dunster House from New Jersey. She is studying Computer Science and Molecular & Cellular Biology with a minor in Government. She is so excited to be a part of the HMC Boston Board! Riya led her high school’s Model Congress Club, participating in HMC Boston as a delegate for all four years in high school! She is looking forward to playing a bigger role in a conference that has changed her life! Riya is also on board for HMC San Francisco and is a senior staffer for HMC Europe. Outside of HMC, Riya is a part of the Harvard Undergraduate Biotechnology Club, The Crimson Sports Board, Tech 4 Social Good, the Quantum Computing Association, the Clean Energy Group, and the Institute of Politics Women’s Initiative in Leadership. In her free time, Riya enjoys reading, painting, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family (and her dog, Mocha!). Riya is looking forward to welcoming everyone to HMC 2026!
Max (Austen) Wyche
Co-Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Austen is a rising junior at Harvard in Winthrop House studying Government and Economics. Raised in Washington D.C. and Huntsville, Alabama, he now lives outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Within HMC, he is the Co-Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for HMC Boston, and has been a senior staffer for HMC San Francisco and HMC Europe. Outside of HMC, he is Vice President of Harvard Undergraduates for Bipartisan Solutions and an Associate Editorial Editor for the Harvard Crimson. Outside of school, Austen loves going to concerts, traveling, and exploring coffee shops throughout the Boston area.
Alexandra Oikonomou
Co-Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Alexandra Oikonomou is a senior in Dunster House studying Government and Philosophy with a secondary in Psychology. She was born and raised in Athens, Greece, and she is passionate about educational equity, disability advocacy, immigration policy, and international relations. She is an avid HMC-er, serving on the boards of the San Francisco and Europe conferences as well. In her free time, you can find her playing volleyball or bracing the cold Boston weather with a comically large jacket and a cup of hot chocolate while reading a book or writing by the Charles River.
Lara Rahman
Faculty Liaison
Lara is a sophomore in Currier House from Indianapolis. Passionate about addressing the socioeconomic disparities in healthcare, she intends to concentrate in Government on the pre-medical track. She enjoys being involved with Harvard Model Congress because of its educational mission and tangible impact. She will be a Senior Staffer for the Asia, Europe, and San Francisco conferences this year. She is also involved in research-related extracurriculars on campus.
Talia Vaught
Co-Chief of Staff
Talia is a senior at Harvard studying Environmental Science and Engineering. She is originally from Bluffton, South Carolina and now lives in Pforzheimer House! This will be her 7th HMC conference. When Talia is not talking about HMC, you can find her at a coffee shop, exploring Boston, working at The Harvard Shop, or spending time with friends. And most importantly, she cannot wait to see you at HMC 2026!
Andrew Zonneveld
Co-Chief of Staff
Andrew is a senior at Harvard College concentrating in Government with a secondary in Education Studies, living in Leverett House. Andrew is a military dependent from Jacksonville, North Carolina, and has been involved with HMC since his first year on campus. He is currently serving his second term on the HMC Boston Board and is a former member of the HMC Europe Board. He will also be a senior staffer for HMC Asia 2026 and HMC Europe 2026. When he’s not working on HMC, you can find Andrew teaching swim lessons or reading a good book.
Jimmy Merino
Co-Director of Mentoring and Scholarships
Jimmy is a sophomore in Lowell House, though he is originally from Chelsea, Massachusetts. He is currently concentrating in Economics and Government. Within HMC, he serves as the Co-Director of Mentorship for HMC Boston and a senior staffer for HMC Europe and HMC Middle East. He's most excited to see delegates step into their roles and leave committee not just as better debaters, but bold thinkers. Outside of HMC, you can find Jimmy involved with the Institute of Politics, finding the best coffee spots in Harvard Square, playing volleyball with friends, or on a run!
Bannon Price
Co-Director of Mentoring and Scholarships
Bannon is a rising sophomore at Harvard in Lowell House, originally from Southwest Arkansas. Bannon is double concentrating in Government and Economics, with a potential citation in Arabic. He is currently the Co-Director of Mentorship & Scholarships for HMC Boston, as well as the Director of Communications for HMC Europe. Bannon is also involved in the Harvard Undergraduate Consulting Group, the Harvard Institute of Politics, and Harvard Undergraduates for Bipartisan Solutions. Outside of class, he loves to explore new coffee shops, go for hikes, and travel.
Cameron REckard
Co-Director of External Affairs
Cameron Reckard is a junior at Harvard College in Quincy House concentrating in Statistics with a secondary in Economics. Originally from the small town of Sheridan, Wyoming, currently serves as the Director of External Affairs for HMC Boston, working to bring HMC’s mission through programs in schools across the globe. In addition, he serves as the Vice President of HMC San Francisco. Outside of classes, Cameron loves to get out and explore new places (especially when they have tall buildings in them), as well as spend time with friends playing board games. When not working on homework, you’ll find him planning his next trip or watching his favorite Netflix shows.
