About Laura
Laura is a senior at Harvard majoring in Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality and getting a secondary field in Government. She is writing a senior thesis on the political philosophy of second-wave American feminism. In addition, she is planning to go to medical school following her graduation. Originally from Bethesda, MD, Laura has come to love her adopted home in Cambridge and has a particular fondness for all things Boston, particularly Fenway Park and the Boston Marathon. Laura has been loving HMC since her first year as a delegate at HMC 2004. She has staffed conferences in Boston, San Francisco, and Brussels and is so excited to welcome you to HMC 2010. At Harvard, Laura also dedicates her time to mentoring girls in the Boston area and running the banks of the Charles River. She is also a dedicated world traveler and can’t wait to see the rest of it.
